I am a single mother of two, born and raised in Panama City, Panama, in a multicultural household with an English mother and Panamanian father of Caribbean descent. Based on my passions and professional experience I would describe myself as a writer, translator, interpreter, dancer, yogi, dreamer, sailor and explorer. 

 

A graduate of Bryn Mawr College in the USA, my studies, and travels in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East have led me to realize the tremendous need for all people to become more aware of the interrelatedness of our lives throughout the planet, and of the impact of our actions across the globe. I firmly believe that the Oli the Owl brand supports spreading a culture of peace, as we are more likely to respect and love what what we know, and less likely to destroy what we love.
